More Than A Mission: Stemming the Sex Trade in Angeles City

Working with colleague Cara Gillespie, we filmed, edited, and produced this documentary on location in Manila and Angeles City in the Philippines. Following regulations set by the Human Participants Review Board, the full documentary is not available for public viewing in order to protect and prevent exploitation of the human subjects involved. The promotional trailer for the film may be seen above and has totaled more than 1,500 views on YouTube.

Serving as our senior capstone at Pacific Lutheran University, this film was made in collaboration with the NGO Wipe Every Tear and funded by the PLU Diversity Center’s DJS Fund in partnership with CMS. The documentary premiered May 4th, 2017 on PLU’s campus.

Additional background information along with the filming process can be found here.
