Bang the Drum: Taiko in Tacoma

As part of a series of documentaries produced by the Chinese Reconciliation Project Foundation, my role in the production of this documentary was as an Associate Director, Videographer, and the Narrator for “Bang the Drum: Taiko in Tacoma.” This film was featured at the West Sound Film Festival as well as the Tacoma Film Festival.

More Than A Mission: Stemming the Sex Trade in Angeles City

Working with colleague Cara Gillespie, we filmed, edited, and produced this documentary on location in Manila and Angeles City in the Philippines. Following regulations set by the Human Participants Review Board, the full documentary is not available for public viewing in order to protect and prevent exploitation of the human subjects involved. Serving as our senior capstone at Pacific Lutheran University, this film was made in collaboration with the NGO Wipe Every Tear and funded by the PLU Diversity Center’s DJS Fund in partnership with CMS. The documentary premiered May 4th, 2017 on PLU’s campus.
